Project Brief

Evention LLC has revolutionized accounting and tips management for the hospitality industry for years. For workers, however, they want their digital tips next-day which creates an accounting nightmare for hotels and restaurants. Payment Direct is Evention's product to help make the process seamless for both parties.

It also happens to be the first time the company has had a consumer-facing product. As such, they needed a brand that speaks to both HR managers and service workers who might use their product.

We needed to take them from behind the corporate scenes to end-user-facing while simultaneously appealing to both.

Solution & Transformation

Chicago-based tech company Evention LLC launches Payment Direct with a new brand.

Studio Ostendo worked with Evention to develop a simple and expansive brand that speaks to both HR managers and service workers. The simple design hides a coercive and comprehensive messaging strategy that encompasses both audiences. With marketing materials that speak to all users, Payment Direct was able to launch with a voice that connected directly to their ideal customers.
